The project

TEGELBACKEN • Restaurant • Wine • Bar is signed by Markus Aujalay (well known swedish chef). We created the visual identity for Tegelbacken with the aim to make it classy, exclusive, but still follow the main decor that is color and playful but elegant. The logotype was simplified and hand made and vectorized from a photo of the ornamental statue sign on the actual building. We wanted to keep the 1900’s feeling of the look so by working with a gold mockup business card we could keep the exclusivity on the logotype even on digital media. By working with real gold foil on menues, business card, window decor as well as the printed brass sign outside nothing reduces the feeling.

We teamed up creating the web design with aim to maintain the concept of the interior even on the web.

Photography by Danny Sivermalm was the final touch on the visual identity completing the red thread on both website and marketing materials.
